Paikauhale [taSco], rare and unusual experiences, but also amazing

Paikauhale [Tau Scorpii, taSco, τ Sco] is the 8th brightest star in the constellation Scorpius (the Scorpion), with a visual magnitude of +2,82. It is located at a distance of 470 light years from the solar system.

The Hawaiian dictionary defines the word 'paikauhale' [ˈpəiˈkəuˈhale] as
"going from house to house, in search of pleasure or entertainment", and also as "homeless wanderer, who alternates between various host sites". In China, this star was known as 心 宿 三 (Xīn Xiù sān), 'The Third Star of the Heart'.

Paikauhale is a
a blue-white main sequence dwarf star of spectral type B0 V, with a surface temperature of 29850 K. It has a rotation speed of 24 km/s.

Photometric observations were carried out in May 2000 and in the year 2003.

The star Paikauhale reminds de cuality of the Sun and the Moon during its passage through the perigee (in opposition to the Black Moon). The symbolic images "homeless wanderer, who alternates between various charitable host sites" and "going from house to house, in search of pleasure or entertainment", refer to an abundance of new experiences.
