Acubens [alCnc], a special public speaking brillance

Acubens [Alfa Cancri, alCnc, α Cnc] is a star system located in the constellation of Cancer (The Crab), formed by two binary stars. It has an apparent magnitude of +4.26 and it is located at a distance of 174 light years.

The name Acubens derives from the Arabic word الزبانى 'az-zubana' meaning 'crab claw'.

It has a declination of +12º and it is located at the degree 13º of Leo (-5º of celestial latitude).

The quality of the star Acubens reminds the planets Saturn and Mercury. It is related with a special public speaking brillance.
