Aldebaran [alTau], amazing physical skills

Aldebaran [Alfa Tauri, alTau, α Tau] is the brightest star in the constellation of Taurus and the 13th most brilliant star in the night sky. It has an apparent magnitude of +0.85 and its color is red orange. It is located at a distance of 65 light years. It has a radius 44 times greater than the sun. If it was situated at the center of the solar system, it would extend to the middle of the orbit of Mercury. Due to its large size, it is 425 times brighter than the Sun, but its density is less than that the Sun.

Comparison between Aldebaran and the Sun
Unlike most of the giant oranges, which at its core are fusing helium into carbon and oxygen, Aldebaran is still in its preliminary stage in which the inert helium core still would be in the process of contract and heat up, causing that, on the whole, the star will expand and increase in brightness. Within only a few million years, the star will reach a luminosity 800 times greater than the Sun, moment in wich will start the burning of helium and will slow down the contraction of the core, which will lead to a drop in its brightness.
Aldebaran is a binary system: the giant star has a distant and companion, Aldebaran B, of magnitude +13,50. It is a red dwarf, whose mass may be only 15 % of the mass of our Sun and its radio the 36 % of the solar radius. Its current separation of Aldebaran is of 609 AU.

In 1997 it was announced the discovery of a giant planet, Aldebaran b, of about 9.5 Jupiter masses, in orbit around the star. The discovery was doubtful and was not confirmed until 2015.

Photometric observations were made in the years 1921, 1978, 1993, 2000, 2007, 2011 and 2015.

Because of its closeness to the ecliptic, it is frequently hidden by the Moon.

It has a declination of +16º and is located at the degree 9º of Gemini (-5º of celestial latitude).

The name Aldebaran comes from Arabic, al-dabarān الدبران, whose meaning is "The Follower".

Aldebaran is a star that reminds the quality of the planet Mars. Unlike in athletics, where a physical test is established, for which it has been tried repeatedly, Aldebaran gives an amazing degree of skill in physical actions for which there is no precedent, for example in a struggle against another living being, or during an unexpected physical accident.

"Blue Lagoon - The Awakening" (2012)

Ralph Macchio, actor of the movie "Karate Kid" (1984), has Aldebaran in Gemini in the Crossing Point of the Age Progressions (Signs Horoscope and Moon-Node Horoscope), also in square with Pluto in Virgo.

Matt Damon, actor of the movie "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007), has Aldebaran in Gemini in trine with Uranus in Libra, and in quincunx with Jupiter in Scorpio.

Zac Efron, actor of the Movie "The Lucky One" (2011), has Aldebaran in Gemini in square with the Moon in Virgo, also in quincunx with Pluto-Venus in Scorpio.

Denzel Washington, actor of the movie "Unstoppable" (2010), has
Aldebaran in Gemini in trine with the Moon in Aquarius.
