Deneb Algedi [deCap], amazing ability to recognize the key factor, scattered among a multitude of similar elements

Deneb Algedi [Delta Capricorni, deCap, δ Cap] is the brightest star in the constellation Capricornus (the Sea Goat), with a visual magnitude of +2,85. It is located at a distance of 39 light years from the solar system.

The traditional name 'Deneb Algedi' comes from the Arabic ذنب الجدي, 'ðanab al-jady', which means 'the tail of the goat (fish-shaped)'. Next to Nashira [gaCap] it was known by the ancient Arabs as 'Al Sa'd al Nashirah', which means 'the lucky one' or 'the one that brings auspicious tides'.
 
Deneb Algedi is a white bright gigant star of spectral type A7 III, with a surface temperature of 7301 K. It has a rotation speed of 105 km/s.

Photometric observations were carried out in the years 1906, 1921, 1956-1958 and 1992. Se observaron ocultaciones estelares por la Luna en 1951-1952, 1962 and 1988.

• Right ascension: 326.8º (26º46' 11th House; undecile 32º44', 0º30' orb)
• Declination: -16.1º (13º52' 12th House; trevigintile@15º39', 0º29' orb)

Deneb Algedi is a star reminds the planets Jupiter and Saturn, and the asteroids Vesta and Interamnia. The symbolic image 'the tail of the goat (fish-shaped)' refers to the ability to move fluidly (the tail fish-shaped) in a difficult environment (the goat).
